Yardit Legal

Effective date: June 28, 2026
Information We Collect
Yardit may collect name, email address, phone number, account information, user ID, account role, account creation date, and records showing acceptance of Yardit's Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and Community Guidelines.
Yardit may collect verified addresses, listing and event locations, Neighborhood Sale locations, vendor check-in locations, city, state, ZIP code, latitude, longitude, time zone, address confirmation status, and related location details needed to operate the map and listing features.
Yardit may collect listing, event, Neighborhood Sale, and vendor information, including titles, descriptions, categories, schedules, business details, vendor profiles, event details, participant information, and related settings.
Yardit may collect photos and uploaded files, including listing photos, event flyers, vendor photos, support attachments, report photos, and other files users choose to upload.
Yardit may collect support tickets, reports, case details, admin comments, internal notes, audit history, and related safety or moderation records.
Yardit may collect payment-related records processed through Stripe, such as checkout session IDs, payment intent IDs, customer IDs, subscription IDs, transaction amounts, payment status, refund status, promo code details, failed payment records, and payment-related support records.
Yardit may collect OneSignal push subscription identifiers, push permission status, push preferences, delivery logs, and device or browser information necessary to send and manage notifications.
Yardit may collect device, browser, user agent, app preference, and usage information necessary to keep users signed in, operate Yardit, restore checkout, improve performance, and maintain app functionality.
How We Use Information
Yardit uses information to create and manage accounts, verify addresses, publish listings, display maps, process payments, send notifications, prevent fraud, review reports, provide customer support, improve Yardit, comply with legal obligations, and enforce Yardit's Terms of Service.
Yardit uses listing, event, vendor, payment, notification, support, and report information to operate the platform, manage visibility, apply promo eligibility, review safety concerns, resolve disputes, and support users.
Public Information
When users publish listings, Residential Events, Neighborhood Sales, Vendor Events, vendor profiles, vendor check-ins, or related content, some information may become publicly visible in Yardit map, list, event, vendor, and detail views.
Public information may include listing titles, descriptions, categories, photos, display locations, event details, schedules, vendor business details, vendor profile content, check-in information, Neighborhood Sale participation details, and other content submitted for public display.
Information intentionally published by users may remain publicly visible while the listing, event, Neighborhood Sale, vendor profile, or other content is active. Once content expires, is removed, or is unpublished, it will no longer appear publicly, although certain records may still be retained for operational, support, fraud prevention, legal, or audit purposes as described elsewhere in this Privacy Policy.
Users should not include personal information, private details, sensitive photos, or other content they do not want made public.
Location Information
Yardit requests location information to help users search nearby listings, show map results, verify residential addresses, display listing and event locations, support vendor check-ins, and operate Neighborhood Sale radius features.
Verified addresses help Yardit reduce fake, duplicate, unauthorized, or misplaced residential listings. Residential listing features may rely on a user's verified primary address and related coordinates.
Nearby searches, nearby listing alerts, vendor near-me alerts, map filters, and route or list sorting may use location information to show relevant Yardit activity near a user or selected area.
Vendor check-ins use location information to show where a vendor is currently or scheduled to appear, when that feature is used.
Neighborhood Sale features may use host addresses, participant locations, radius checks, map display, and home count information to manage shared neighborhood events.
Payments
Yardit uses Stripe to process payments, checkout, subscriptions, payment confirmations, failed payment tracking, and payment-related support workflows.
Yardit does not store full payment card numbers in the Yardit app database.
Yardit retains payment-related records as reasonably necessary for billing, fraud prevention, customer support, dispute resolution, payment audits, and legal obligations.
Push Notifications
Yardit uses OneSignal to manage optional push notifications and push subscription delivery.
Push notifications require browser or device permission. Users may change notification preferences or disable push notifications at any time through Yardit settings or their device/browser settings.
Disabling push notifications does not remove in-app notification history or notification bell records that Yardit maintains separately.
Cookies and Local Storage
Yardit may use cookies, local storage, session storage, and similar browser storage to remember preferences, keep users signed in, restore checkout, improve performance, maintain app functionality, remember install or startup preferences, support push setup, and preserve temporary app state.
Third-Party Services
Yardit uses Base44 for hosting, authentication, database, file storage, backend functions, and app infrastructure.
Yardit uses Stripe for payment processing and payment-related records.
Yardit uses OneSignal for optional push notifications and subscription management.
Yardit uses Mapbox for mapping, geocoding, location search, and map display features.
Data Retention
Yardit retains information only as long as reasonably necessary to operate the platform, process payments, provide support, prevent fraud, resolve disputes, meet legal obligations, enforce the Terms of Service, maintain safety workflows, and support billing or audit needs.
Account Deletion
Users may start account deletion from Yardit Settings. Protected admin, owner, or developer accounts may require Yardit Support review before deletion to protect platform operations and audit integrity.
When deletion is completed, Yardit may deactivate or anonymize the account, disable push subscriptions, remove saved user preferences where appropriate, hide eligible user-owned public content, and sign the user out.
Certain information may be retained when necessary for legal compliance, fraud prevention, payment records, open disputes, safety investigations, support history, billing records, dispute resolution, or audit needs.
User Privacy Rights
Users may request access to their information, correction of inaccurate information, deletion where applicable, or privacy assistance through Yardit Support.
Yardit may need to verify the request before taking action, and some information may not be deleted immediately if it must be retained for legal, safety, fraud prevention, payment, support, or dispute-resolution reasons.
Children's Privacy
Yardit is not intended for children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Security
Yardit uses reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards, including trusted third-party providers, to help protect user information.
No online service can guarantee absolute security, and users should also take care to protect their account access and device security.
Policy Changes
Yardit may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When appropriate or required by law, Yardit may provide additional notice of significant changes. Continued use of Yardit after updated policies become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Privacy Policy.
